I may live in the city, but my heart's in the country. I love being outdoors, and would be just as happy on a picnic as at an upscale restaurant. I love kids and dogs, gardening, fishing, hunting, garage sales and auctions. I hate shopping! In the past I traveled a good bit to gather material for stories I was writing, but these days I am much more of a homebody, since I have a teenager in school. Most of my adventures now involve doing something new and interesting right in my own back yard; after all, sometimes the best adventure is life itself! I also love being at home. I lived on a farm in the Panhandle of Florida for 17 years, and my heart is still in the woods. One of my personal goals is to move back to the country after my son graduates from high school.
